A turbine supply agreement has been signed with Goldwind for the D1 Wind Power Plant (WPP) Project, which has an installed capacity of 37.5 MW. Under the agreement, the project will be equipped with five GWH182-7.5 MW wind turbines.
The partnership between Dere Construction and Goldwind dates back to 2016. Since then, four wind power projects with a combined installed capacity of 83.1 MW have been successfully developed and commissioned. The strong cooperation and technical alignment established over the years are being further strengthened through the D1 WPP Project.
D1 WPP represents an important addition to Dere Construction's growing renewable energy investment portfolio and is expected to contribute to Türkiye's energy transition and sustainable development objectives.
Upon completion, the project will support the expansion of clean energy generation capacity and further advance the country's renewable energy targets.
