Ovacık Wind Power Plant Project has a total installed capacity of 15 MWe (3 x GW165-6.0 HH100). All field activities carried out meticulously by our site teams with the target of completing commissioning by December 2025 have now been successfully finalized. The mechanical installation of the turbines was completed on 19 November 2025, followed by all required testing and commissioning procedures, culminating in the official acceptance by the Ministry.
With the completion of the Ministry acceptance, Ovacık WPP has officially entered commercial operation and commenced electricity generation.
This licensed wind power project has been developed by Esengüç Yatırım A.Ş., a subsidiary of Dere Construction, under a comprehensive EPC contract. As the EPC contractor, Dere Construction successfully executed all major scopes including permitting processes, civil and infrastructure works, construction of the energy transmission line, turbine installation, and commissioning.
Our cooperation with our turbine supplier Goldwind has continued throughout the project with a high level of coordination, alignment, and efficiency.
