Mechanical Completion Achieved at Ovacık WEPP, Commercial Operation Approaching

The Ovacık Wind Energy Power Plant Project, with an installed capacity of 15 MWe (3 x GW165-6.0 HH100), continues to advance toward commercial operation as site teams diligently work toward achieving commissioning by December 2025. The project reached a major milestone with the successful mechanical completion of all turbines on 19 November 2025. Undertaken by Esengüç Yatırım A.Ş., a subsidiary of Dere Construction, the licensed wind power plant is being delivered under a full-scope EPC contract. As the EPC contractor, Dere Construction is responsible for all core project activities, including permitting, foundation works, the construction of the energy transmission line, turbine installation, and commissioning operations. Dere Construction’s collaboration with its turbine supplier Goldwind continues at the highest level, marked by strong coordination and seamless project execution.
