Our subsidiary company Yeni Aka Enerji Elektrik Uretim Sanayi Ticaret A.S. has applied for Asagi Aras Kuloglu HEPP, Kizilsu Regulator and HEPP, Hilal Regulator and Uludere HEPP and Oglakçi 1-2 Regulator and HEPP Projects, which are among the HEPP projects opened to private sector applications by DSI, and the license process has been initiated. The protocols for the relevant projects were signed with DSI on 03.03.2025. The installed power capacities of the HEPPs are Asagi Aras Kuloglu HEPP 37.6MW, Kizilsu Regulator and HEPP 19.36MW, Hilal Regulator and Uludere HEPP 21.02MW, Oglakçi 1-2 Regulator and HEPP 8.42MW, respectively.
Hydroelectric power plants, just like wind and solar power plants, play an important role in environmentally friendly energy production. The main purpose of our HEPP investments is to provide clean energy production, meet electricity needs and reduce dependency on fossil fuels. Accordingly, we aim to increase environmental sustainability and strengthen local energy production capacity with our new projects.
